GENUINE ALLIGATOR BAG
Bellestone Bags, Inc. was a New York company located at 38 West 32nd Street, in the 1950s-1960s. Their curvy, ladylike handbags were offered in a great array of styles and sizes by Saks Fifth Avenue, Bonwit Teller and other upscale boutiques.
Crafted from the skins of alligator, crocodile, turtle, lizard or snake, they gleamed in rich shades of classic colors. Substantial in size and depth, with expensive frames opening wide to disclose a handsome lining, a Bellestone purse was a great complement to every costume and the exclamation point to any outfit.
